BUY LOCAL
 I
recently met with a client who was very happy to meet with me and drop
off her shirts. She was glad that I was local and she was happy to
support a small, local business. I enjoy meeting with new clients and
discussing memory quilts! Just email me: immfish@comcast.net or give me a call 215-855-9783.

Dear Molly,
I hope your summer
is off to a great start! I have been busy making graduation quilts,
memorial quilts and pillows, and even a Father's Day quilt! Quilts
aren't just for school-age kids! The quilt shown below is a Father's Day
present to a wonderful dad. How many shirts do you have just waiting to
be turned into a memory quilt?

THE SCRAPBOOK YOU CAN SLEEP UNDER The
owner of this bold and beautiful Irish Pub quilt is one lucky Irishman!
He has spent many hours in pubs all over the United States enjoying a
tasty beverage or two! He even renewed his vows at the Graceland Chapel
in Las Vegas, NV-how cool is that! This quilt was made in the
traditional style and measures 85" by 95". It fits nicely on a full size
bed. See more photos |

HANDKERCHIEFS AND TIES
Memory Quilts can be made from any meaningful fabric. Two quilts that I am currently working on:
- A Handkerchief Quilt made from a grand mother's collection of hankies-some are from the 1940's.
- A Tie Quilt made from a man's tie collection.
Stay tuned for pictures of these beautiful quilts in bold new designs!

HIGH TECH SEWING MACHINE
I
am excited to announce that I have purchased a new Brother sewing
machine that can stitch up to 1,500 stitches per minute! My first major
purchase for the business was indeed a good one. The sewing machines
today are computers that can sew! It has increased my productivity
tremendously! I can't seem to part with my old 1990 Singer or my 1920
Singer sewing machine shown above! But, my my new Brother machine will
help make more bold and beautiful quilts! Learn more about the quilting process |

 HELPFUL HINT FOR GATHERING SHIRTS
This
from one of my loyal readers: Place a plastic bin on the shelf in your
child's closet. Add shirts to this bin as your child outgrows them or
no longer wants to wear them. In no time you will have a wonderful
collection of shirts for a one-of-a-kind memory quilt.

The summer is proving to be just as busy as the spring was for Memory Quilts by Molly.
Currently, I have 8 quilts and 2 pillows on my schedule. If you are
interested in a quilt, please contact me so we can schedule a time to
meet and add your quilt to the schedule. I feel truly blessed that so
many people have ordered quilts. Remember, quilts are made bold by the
quilting patterns and they are made beautiful by your t-shirts that are
filled with your memories!
Sincerely,
Molly Fisher
